Due San Giovese, 3 Salsicce

In my opinion Umbrian Sausages should never be eaten without a bottle of San Giovese. You need a bottle, because they are always so salty, that you need a glass at least for half a sausage....well you could drink water, but...

This time a tested: Sausages from the COOP and two butchers, the Porano village butcher and Loreto a very good meat shop at Orvieto Scalo.  The sausages were all good and as said before, too salty.  The Porano sausage was nicely spicy.  You can't eat them withou some vegetables that help you dilute the salt.

...the wines

Two San Giovese in "purezza".  "Campo della Fiera" dal Lago di Corbara,   'Trevite"   from Ïl palagione in Tuscany. Tutte e due buoni. Il Campo della Fiera piú scuro, Il Trevite piú complesso.  I don't have  pages for either of them, so I have to recommend  "Rosso di Spica",  which is a  "salsicce"wine of excellence.
