This red wine is produced with 60% San Giovese Grapes, 20% Cabernet and 20% Merlot. The vineyards are all in the higher part of Valle Esina between 250 and 500 m above sea level. The grape production is vinestock and is about 3.5 kg for about 2800 vines per ha. With an exclusive position in a hilly area and an exposition south east/west. It was designed to by a fruity wine of great sensorial pleasure based upon scents that can be red fruits( berries, red peach). Wooden and other tertiary aromas of long maturation are absent.. It is a well structured wine, sapid and soft. It is full bodied, but has definitely a great drinkability.
It is a synthesis between a red mediterranean wine, rich in color and polyphenols, and a fresh fruity wine, rich of primary and secondary fermentation aromas.
This wine goes very well with all red and white meats, good als with rich flavoured noodle or rice dishes. Try it with dumpling or cold starters like chicken claws.
