We like this wine, but we think it has more vegetal and mineral notes than fruits and flowers as stated by the producer. Their top wine (a Merlot!) is called "Austero". We think, a bit austero is also the Belloro. This is no criticism. In a second tasting, fruity notes came up which reminded me of rhubarb, a very refreshing, but with a specific acidity, nearly tannic.
We had a second day taste with the Belloro and a very aged Pecorino cheese from Cheese Maker Del Rio. Wonderful, just wonderful pairing. There are always suprises
