This is the "little brother" of the "Etichetta Nera" del Gamay del Trasimeno.  We did not pay too much attention until fall 2017 to this wine, because we are too much in love with the  "Etichetta Nera", one of Umbria's finest red wines. When I drove to the winery end of September to buy "Etichetta Nera", nothing was left!!  So I had to buy the little brother :-)

Gamay Perugino (del Trasimeno) vinificated alone, ruby red with intense purple overtones color.

The grapes are stripped of the steam, pressed and fermented for approximately 10 days. After the malolactic fermentation the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks. and aged 3-4 months in the bottle
