Sagrantino di Montefalco

Description

Your are going for the best.  It is Wine Song's CEO favourite.  A wine for  women! And for men who dare to be strong.

It is a surprise to find in Montefalco Sagrantino so many diverse aromas and a structure of such great importance.
The color is profound, the bouquet sensual, and the body is powerful.
The elegance of the wine can be appreciated when it is young, when both the grapes and spices melt  with the wood, and the Sagrantino is enhanced.
But only after some years you can appreciate it fully, when it releases aromas of balsam, and the tannin soften: one discovers a wine of great personality.

Assisi Young

The young we did not find  in Italy. We met Annalaura Tili and her mom at Interwine in Guangzhou. We were immediately enchanted by the particular taste of the "Young". They told us, that Mr. Tili (Father and husband) did not like, because it so little traditional.

Young, we can drink also without a meal!

Palaia

Description

The dream of a wine for every day. Well, it has its part of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which are not autochtonous to Umbria, but they are grown here by the small producers, who bring their grapes to the "Cantina Sociale",

It is a very well made wine, with a price/quality ratio, that is not beatable. Even if you are not drinking Sagrantino or Brunello you want something decent
Get convinced by its bright ruby color and a wide, fragrant taste. The savoury and balanced flavour has a long, aromatic aftertaste enhancing the quality of this wine.

Best served at 18-19 °C and not at the temperature of the environment in a Wuhan Summer.

Martavello

Description

I discovered this Rosè in 2013. It captured me immediately. I dislike "lightweight"  Rosè, worst is the Zinfandel from California, but also the Cerasuolo from Italian's Abbruzzi is not for me.  This wine is different.  It is strong with 15% alcohol, but nevertheless perfectly harmonious.  With food it is  a kind of swiss "knife" wine.  But I can simply have it when I want to have a drink before dinner.

It goes well with spicy foods and dishes , with nuts as seasonings——such as Sichuan food, the wine will contribute complexity to the dual, and you can admire the structure better with food.  also pairing this wine with crab is a genius touch!

Astonishing stable quality through different vintages. And a price/quality  ratio hit! It has become lighter though through the years. The 2018 edition is more elegant than those before. More citrus and st onefruit than tropicals, less alcohol (13.5%)  ..Still one of my favourite Rose's

Notes

This Rosè wine is 100% from "Gamay del Trasimeno" autoctonous Grapes. "Gamay del Trasimeno" is an autoctonous grape, which grows only around Lago Trasimeno in Umbria. It is not related to the French Gamay, but genetically part of the Grenache Group.
